The Higher Education Accreditation Board (BAN-PT) has extended the Accreditation period for the Physics Education Study Program, FMIPA State University of Gorontalo, until 19 February 2026. Previously, the accreditation period for the Physics Education Study Program ended on 19 February 2021

The extension of the accreditation with rank A is based on the SK BAN-PT numbered: 972/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PJJ/S/II/2021, which was signed directly by the Director of the Executive Board of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Prof. T. Basaruddin.

Head of the Department of Physics Abd. Wahidin Nuay, S.Pd., M.Si said that we from the department, especially the Physics Education Study Program, are still trying our best to convert accreditation to superior rank through filling in the Conversion Supplementary Instrument (CSI).

The head of the Physics Education Study Program said, "Thank God the Physics Education Study Program has been extended Accreditation with an A predicate until February 19, 2021, and temporarily fills in the Conversion Supplementary Instrument (CSI)".
