Obtaining SINTA 4 Accreditation to the UNG Physics Education Journal "Jambura Physics Journal (JPJ)"

According to the Operational Guidelines for the Assessment of Credit Scores for Lecturer Academic Promotion/Position, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture in 2019, Accredited National Journals are scientific magazines that meet the criteria as national journals and receive accredited status from the Directorate General of Higher Education with an accreditation validity period of 5 years. In the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2018 concerning Accreditation of Scientific Journals, it is explained that National Journals are said to be accredited if the accreditation process for scientific journals is carried out electronically through information and communication technology networks.

One of the functions of the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) is to assess the performance of journals based on accreditation and citation standards by indexing all national journals accredited by the National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA). Announcement of Scientific Journal Accreditation Results for Period III of 2020 and Decree of the Minister of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency Number B/179/E5.2/KI.02.00/2020, dated December 30, 2020, regarding Notification of Results of Accreditation of Scientific Journals Period III Year 2020 in SK Number 200/M/KPT/2020 there are 13 journals at UNG that have received SINTA accreditation. One of these journals is the Jambura Physics Journal "JPJ," which has been managed by the Physics Department starting in 2019. Based on the announcement from ARJUNA, the Physics Journal obtained the SINTA 4 Accreditation.

Jambura Physics Journal (JPJ) is an Open Journal System (OJS) that publishes original scientific research articles in physics and physics education for all levels of education.
