This activity was carried out through Zoom, which was participated by students and lecturers of the S-1 Physics study program and S-1 Physics education to improve the competence of participants in writing scientific articles and increase publications for both students and lecturers, especially in the Physics Study Program.

Dr. Trisnawaty J.Buhungo M.Pd attended this activity as Head of Physics Study Program and Head of Physics Department Laboratory Drs. Asri Arbie, M.Si, and the initiator of this Bimtek activity.

This activity was opened by the Head of the Physics Department, Mrs. Dewi Diana Paramata, S.Pd M.Pd. Through his remarks, the head of the Physics Department hoped that the participants would pay attention and be serious in participating in these activities so that they would be able to apply them in writing articles and publishing widely through scientific journals, conferences, or other publication media. Thus, it will be able to increase the number of publications within the Department of Physics.

Scientific publications are one of the essential categories in evaluating university performance, namely the Main Performance Indicators of State Higher Education (IKU 5).
