The 2018 State University Entrance National Selection (SNMPTN) and 2018 State University Joint Selection (SBMPTN) activities were officially launched in Jakarta (12/1).

1. Based on the regulations that have been set, the pathway for New Student Admission at PTN in 2018 is detailed as follows:

a) SNMPTN line,

b) SBMPTN pathway,

c) Self Selection.

2. Regarding the total allocation of 100% capacity for each PTN study program for the three routes, the distribution is as follows:

a) SNMPTN at least 30%,

b) SBMPTN at least 30%,

c) Independent Selection at most 30%.

3. Implementation of the Selection through the 2018 SNMPTN based on the results of tracking achievements and academic portfolios with school requirements for SMA/SMK/MA students can register as follows:

a) Accreditation A: 50% best in his school, Accreditation B: 30% best in his school,

b) Accreditation C: 10% of the best in his school, and other Accreditations: 5% of the best in his school.

4. Implementing the 2018 SBMPTN based on the UTBK-shaped exam will increase the number of participants. This UTBK exam model becomes the embryo of a new student admission model through the Test Service Center (Test Center).

5. As for the Independent Selection route, each PTN will carry out itself after the announcement of the SBMPTN. Independent Selection by each PTN, one of which can use or take advantage of the SBMPTN test results facilitated by the Central Committee.

6. Prospective participants from underprivileged families can register for the Bidikmisi Program and must first register as a candidate for Bidikmisi recipient first to the page http:/bidikmisi.belmawa.ristekdikti.go.id
