The response to the RI Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 3 of 2020 regarding national standards for higher education, all study programs at FMIPA UNG are currently implementing the concept of Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka or what is often called MBKM. The leadership of the MIPA Faculty, Manado State University (UNIMA), and their staff paid a visit to the MIPA Faculty of the State University of Gorontalo. On Wednesday, February 03, 2021. This was the second visit in the context of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum Cooperation at the Independent Campus MBKM FMIPA UNG-FMIPA UNIMA. This visit was welcomed by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, State University of Gorontalo. In his speech, the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Harto. S Malik, M.Hum appreciates, especially FMIPA UNG, which is very responsive and is implementing the MBKM Curriculum system. This appreciation is addressed directly to the Head of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNG, Prof. Dr. Astin Lukum, M.Si.
This activity was attended by the Heads of Faculties, Departments, Study Programs, FMIPA Laboratories, and the Head of the UNG Quality Assurance Unit. At the same time, each department presented the profile of the department and the Independent Learning curriculum of the independent campus of each study program in the department. On this occasion, the head of the Physics Department, Abd. Wahidin Nuayi, S.Pd., M.Si gave a direct presentation about the MBKM of the Physics Department and continued with the Cooperation Agreement of each study program. On this occasion, Dr. Trisnawaty Junus Buhungo, M.Pd as Head of UNG Physics Study Program and Dr. Donny Royke Wenas, M.Si as the Head of UNIMA Physics Study Program, signed the Cooperation Program directly with UNIMA Physics Study Program.
The implementation of this collaboration includes Tridharma activities, cooperation in improving the quality of journal management (Mitra Lestari), Guidance Activities, and others. Both parties are committed to coordinating with each other in realizing the goals of this MBKM and expanding to other fields of cooperation that support each other in improving academic activities.
