The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the State University of Gorontalo held a Workshop with the main agenda activity being the preparation of an Outcome Base Education (OBE)-Based Assessment and Evaluation plan for the preparation of International Accreditation documents involving lecturers of physics education which was carried out at UTC Damhil, Thursday 9 June 2022.

The workshop began with remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Astin Lukum, M.Si. In his speech, he said that the curriculum-based (OBE) would be required in international accreditation to be carried out by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The Dean also called for the Learning Management System (LMS) to be further enhanced in the Department of Physics, FMIPA, State University of Gorontalo.

The activity with speakers Nurijal, S.Pd., M.Pd was opened by Deputy Chancellor 1 for Akademik, Dr. Harto. S. Malik, M. Hum. In his speech, he said that every lecturer must have an LMS, where LMS is software designed to create, distribute, and manage the delivery of learning materials.

"In implementing lectures, lecturers use hybrid learning, a learning method that combines face-to-face learning systems with online-based learning. Where the proportion of learning is face-to-face and online, each is 50%, except for certain courses that must be carried out face-to-face in full," he said.

Then he added, "Each lecturer must map face-to-face and online courses. LMS will still be used even though the lectures are face-to-face."

In addition, according to the Vice Chancellor, who is also a lecturer in the English Language Study Program, LMS is one of the assessment materials in international accreditation.

"The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences will carry out an international accreditation of the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). This FIBAA accreditation will see the activities of students and lecturers in the LMS, and field assessments will also be seen in the LMS," he explained.

The material in this activity consists of four materials, namely the type of evaluation in OBE, the Mechanism for Compiling an Assessment Portfolio, the Mechanism of CPMK (Courses Learning Outcomes) and Sub CPMK Assessments, and Measurement of Learning Outcomes and Workshop participants are lecturers from the Department of Physics Education.
